Mission Statement

My name is Michael Boyce. I am a retired banking-leasing executive, and the father of two lovely daughters, Emily and Sarah. I am a partner in two small businesses, and have owned Platte River Auto since 1995. My business model is based on three fundamental principles:

1. Ethics, integrity and fair dealing with all whom I conduct business, including customers, vendors, and competitors.
2. Full disclosure of all pertinent facts for every transaction.
3. Fair pricing and respect for my customers, their families, and their automotive needs.

Business Model

I make every effort to offer the public, clean, moderately priced automobiles with documented histories, reasonable mileage, clean Carfax reports when available, and all of the information necessary to make an informed decision.

For this reason, I do not normally buy cars from other dealers unless I have a history with that dealer, and am confident of their business ethics and principles. I purchase cars from private owners, the U. S. Government, local municipalities, major corporations, and automobile financing entities such as Toyota Motor Credit, GMAC, Ford Motor Credit, and Chrysler Credit Corporation.

I believe that this type of product offers my customers the most security when selecting an automobile for purchase.

I am able to sell for less because I have chosen quality subcontractors that perform the services I need. I have no Dealer Prep and Handling fees. You pay only the price and the appropriate sales tax.

I work by appointment only. I understand that my customers work as well, and therefore I am available for after-work appointments with sufficient notice. I am here to meet your scheduling needs as well as your automotive needs!
